Student Council visit Houses of Parliament
Members of the Student Council had the opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament to find out about how the country is run. Students were given a tour of the Palace of Westminster and then were able to discuss issues that they felt were important to them. They were also able to meet local MP Helen Whately who answered their questions about the environment, housing as well as finding out about why she became an MP.
