Bad Weather Procedure

Emergency Procedure in the event the school is unable to open 

If we are unable to open the school because of severe weather, we will publish our status on www.kentclosures.co.uk by 7am (where possible). You will also be able to receive information via the following channels: 

· Local Radio Stations: KMFM, Radio Kent, Heart FM 

· The Lenham School Website announcements 

· A School Communication message will be sent to Parents/Carers via email/text message 

For all Year groups we will operate a ‘virtual’ school day in which all lessons and Personal Development time are taught live on Teams. If closure is deemed necessary during the school day, we will publish information on the above channels. If school coaches are collecting students early, we will contact Parents/Carers via our messaging service (School Comms), students will be able to remain supervised on site until such time as Parents/Carers are able to collect them.
