Author - Jon Robinson
We were thrilled to invite published author Jon Robinson in to school on Tuesday! Not only did he sign books but 120 students across years 7-9 were invited to join Jon in a creative writing workshop, learning his tips for getting a story started and hooking readers and getting feedback on their own ideas. At the end of the session, students were captivated by Jon’s sharing of a story he wrote for his English teacher at age 11…hopefully we have some budding authors on the horizon at TLS!
We have our Scholastic book fair joining us 14th-18th October so if you’re looking for some inspiration (for your own stories or even Christmas presents), please do encourage students to pop into the library one break time to browse the range in stock. Purchases can be made by card.
